Trivia Night on Friday 2/27
ELIGIBILITY:
Any Massachusetts resident who is applying to a post-high school institution which offers an accredited 4-year undergraduate bachelors program of study may apply for this scholarship. Students applying for or in graduate school are not eligible.
PROCEDURE:
1. The applicant must submit the scholarship form by April 1st of the current school year along with the requirements below to IACWalpoleScholarship@gmail.com. The applicant’s name should be included in the “subject” field.
a. A current resume.
b. A current high school transcript including grades and class rank.
c. Self-reported test scores. If no test scores, please explain.
d. A letter written by the applicant, addressed to the Scholarship Committee, expressing your reason for applying for this scholarship and your future goals, expectations and plans.
2. The applicant must request, from a guidance counselor or principal, a letter attesting to the applicant’s future educational plans and to the applicant’s moral and social character. This letter should be emailed directly from the counselor or principal by April 1st of the current school year to IACWalpoleScholarship@gmail.com with the applicant’s name in the “subject” field.
ADMINISTRATION:
We will accept application submissions beginning February 1st of the current school year. The deadline for submissions is April 1st of the current school year. Decisions and notifications will be made by May 1st of the current school year. Scholarship check(s) will be awarded in December of the first semester or upon completion of the 1st marking period and after the applicant submits an official post-high school transcript to IACWalpoleScholarship@gmail.com.
